Hilarious stuff!

Well, the hockey season is over, Englands Premier League is done, and the sports scene is looking a little thin. Unless you like to take in the occasional J-league game.

So, I decided to put something up that highlights the more amusing side of the Japanese.

First of all, a few things I have seen on my way round...
Spotted this in a fashion store. Usually you see the likes of New York, or London, Paris, or Sydney plastered on the front of a t-shirt. On occasion, Manchester and Liverpool. And now, Inverness and Sheffield...

God neednt bless me, in fact, I dont want him to! But your trip, well, you need all the help you can get!

This is the phone to contact the bank if the ATM machine eats your card. However, if you HAVE trouble with the machine, dont ring. However, please, feel free to call if hoodies are hounding you.
Well! Er. I guess there is not much I can say about this one. Apart from the fact it is in a department store...

This? This is hair gel. And yes, it is ultra-hard. Ironically, in Japan, it is hard to find any "soft" products. It is always hard, super hard, or ultra hard.

I am of course, referring to hair gel. Dont know what you where thinking of!

Now. Everyone knows that Japan is the home of the box car. This boils down to land taxes. If you want to buy a car, you have to have a place to park it. The tax on this is down to the size of the engine, and the footprint of the car. So, a large-engined, large wheel-based car is heavily taxed. So, how to get round that. Well, simple. Build a car that has a small engine. Except then the car is going to be small, well, in order to maximise space, turn the thing into a box! Problem is, these cars ARE boxy, and have tiny engines, so thundering round anywhere is unlikely. Moving nippily is also unlikely if there is anything over a stiff breeze as a headwind, given the comparitively large sides on these!

So, how to get people to buy them? Will, give them nifty titles! Like the Honda Life, or the Suzuki Every which can carry everything (as long as it is about as heavy as a fluffy pillow), Then there is the Daihatsu Move! Or a really fun one, again from Daihatsu, the NAKED! I saw the car, and it looks very mechanical, then I saw the name, and yes, I had to smile...

However, none of these match Honda. And its Thats.

Thats what!?!?!?!?
